Log In & Open a Page

Open your browser and go to: https://amandapearch.com/wp-admin/

Type your username and password, then click Log In.

Use your username ‘Amanda’ or your email, along with the password you created.

Once you’re in, click Pages in the left menu.

Find your page in the list.

💡 If you ever rename the page, you can still find it by that ‘Front Page’ indicator.

Hover over the page name and click the Edit with Elementor button.

Wait a few seconds for the editor to load. You’ll see your page with a panel on the left side.

✓ You're done!

Edit a Line of Text or a Paragraph

Click on any text you want to change — a blue outline will appear around it.

Double-click directly on the text to start editing. Your cursor will appear inside or use the left bar to edit the text.

Delete the old text and type the new text.

Click anywhere outside the text area when you’re done.

Click Update to save — your changes go live immediately.

Edit a Heading or Title

Click on the heading or title you want to change — a blue outline appears.

Look at the left panel — you’ll see a field called Title.

Click inside the Title field and change the text.

Click Update to save — your changes go live immediately.

Change a Button Label & Link

Select the button you want to change.

Look at the left panel — find the field called Text.

Click inside and change what the button says.

If you need to update a link, select the button and look for the ‘Link’ field in the left panel. You can either type the name of the page to search for it or paste the URL directly into the field.

Click Update to save — your changes go live immediately.

💡 Do not change the button color or link — only the label text.

Swap an Image

Click on the image you want to replace — a blue outline appears.

In the left panel, click the image thumbnail or the Choose Image button.

A window opens showing your media files. To use a new image, click Upload Files at the top.

Click Select Files and choose the image from your computer.

Once uploaded, click the image to select it, then click Insert Media.

There is another way to update images besides using a widget. Select the specific section by clicking the square icon in the top-left corner. In the left-hand panel, go to the ‘Style’ tab and look for the ‘Background’ section. Click on the image thumbnail to open the Media Library, where you can upload or select a new image to replace the current one.

Click Update to save — your changes go live immediately.

💡 Use images at least 1200px wide for best quality. PNG format works best.

Upload a Podcast Episode

In the WordPress dashboard, click Podcasting in the left menu.

Click Add New Episode at the top.

Type the episode title (include the episode number, e.g. Ep. 12 – Guest Name.)

Scroll down to find the Episode Details section like duration, file size and date recorded. Click Upload File and choose your MP3 audio file.

💡 You can find the duration, file size, and recording date in the media properties, as shown in the video.

For the episode image, please upload the same image as the featured image, as this is the one that will display in the media player.

In the main area (below the episode title), write a short description of the episode (2–3 sentences is enough).

On the right side, under Featured Image, click Set featured image and upload a square cover image.

💡 Use a square image, at least 1400 × 1400 px.

Click Publish — the episode appears on your website and updates your podcast feed automatically.

💡 Plugin: Seriously Simple Podcasting (SSP). You'll find it as 'Podcasting' in the left menu.

Create or Edit an Event

In the WordPress dashboard, find M.E. Calendar in the left menu and click it.

Click Add Event.

Type the event name at the top.

Scroll down to the ‘Event Details’ section to set the Start and End dates and times using the provided date fields.

For in-person events: fEnter the venue name and address. If it’s a new location, choose ‘Insert a new location’ from the dropdown menu and fill in the necessary details.

 

In the left panel under ‘Event Details,’ navigate to ‘Links’ and paste the meeting URL into the ‘Event Link’ field.”

Write a short description of the event in the main text area (below the event’s name at the top)

On the right side, click Set featured image and upload a banner image for the event.

Click Publish — the event now appears in your events calendar.

💡 IMPORTANT NOTE: At the top, there is a section titled 'Menu color.' Please update the 'Color picker' to hex code #0E0E0E and switch the 'Logo Switcher' to the black version of the logo.

NOTE: This change should only be applied to Events.
